Between 0:00 and 15:00, March 2, one locally transmitted case with mild symptoms was registered in Suzhou. The case was found in the groups under isolated management and control. As of 15:00, March 2, 118 locally transmitted cases (32 have moderate symptoms and 86 have mild symptoms) and 29 locally transmitted asymptomatic cases have been reported. Between 0:00 and 15:00, March 2, 18 locally transmitted cases were discharged from hospital. As of 15:00, March 2, a total of 44 locally transmitted cases have been discharged from hospital and 8 locally transmitted asymptomatic cases have been removed from medical observation, all of which are under health management at designated rehabilitation hospitals. As of 15:00, March 2, 91 areas in Suzhou remain restricted. Among them, 52 are lockdown areas and 39 are control areas. 42 areas in Suzhou are still medium-risk. Schools will consider reopening after all medium-risk areas across city are downgraded to low-risk. Middle-school and high-school seniors will return to school first. Kindergartens, elementary and secondary schools will resume classes in a staggered, safe and stable manner.
