UNS C72700 is a spinodal hardenable copper-nickel-tin alloy (nominal composition: Cu balance, 9% Ni, 6% Sn), widely supplied as precision wire conforming to ASTM B740 specification. It is a beryllium-free elastic copper alloy, serving as a premium alternative to beryllium copper in many electronic spring applications.

Key Characteristics & Advantages:
C72700 wire combines high elasticity, fatigue durability and corrosion resistance without beryllium. It is the preferred environmentally friendly substitute for beryllium copper wire when moderate conductivity and stable spring performance are required.
